@Lincoln: afaik Chrome doesn’t do anything to handle RSS feeds, you’ll need a separate feed reader for that.

I went throught the same thing, uninstall before installing the same version ie 8 beta 2. But then I attempted to set google as my search engine and I get the message “Ie 8 beta 2 required– download it now….”. Help under ie 8 list that it is indeed beta 2 yet somewhere that is not being recognized when adding other search providers. I have tried google and yahoo with the same results.

Any suggestion to get google as the default????
